"So I check Williams Sonoma website for an item and it says in stock and on sale. \nGet to the store and they don't have it but can order it. \nCan't accept cash and insist I need to buy a gift card. \nItem to arrive in a few days. \nA few days later, I am advised that the item will not arrive for at least six weeks.\nAsked to cancel and for my cash to be refunded and was told that was impossible because I bought the item on a gift card.!?\nTheir solution? \nUse the store credit to buy something more expensive that they actually do have in the store.\nTextbook bait and switch."

"Went to Costco eye was charged for a service I wasn't told was optional and wasn't told there was a charge and I also wasn't given a pupillary distance so I can't order my glasses and have to go back or to somewhere else. Hesitant about going back... went home to order frames online because I had them already chosen but while looking at the Costco selection to see if I could save myself time almost all the frames were black. Not my style but more importantly not a varied selection at all."
